Using two weapons will always be stronger but that strength has heavy downsides unless built for it. Jump attack builds are built around this but weapons like Bloodhound Fang are not meant for this type of build or should i say it has better options. BHF is the ultimate carry weapon because of it's L2 / R2 combo + ability to be greased.Hence Right now i am just running through with Bloodhound Fang.
